iPhone Update: Apple released iOS 16 version, features and supported iPhones

Apple Released iOS16 Update: If you are a user of Apple then there is good news for you. This veteran tech company has released iOS16 update for users. In this new operating system, you will get a new lock screen with widgets, unsend and edit options for iMessage, new keyboard haptics and a new Home app and many more features. Although this new version will not be for iPadOS. According to The Verge, iPadOS will not be updated to version 16 today. It is set to be updated later with the iPadOS 16.1 release.

A lot more to be found on the lockscreen after iOS16 update

In iOS16, you will see many changes on the lockscreen. Now users can add widgets to it after the new update and these widgets will act as a way to present you a variety of notifications. On the iPhone 14 Pro model, these widgets will be visible even when the device is turned off.

More fun using iMessage

If you use iPhone and also use its iMessage regularly, then the new update is more special for you. The company has made many improvements in the update. Now you can edit a message up to 15 minutes after sending it. Not only this, if you want, you can also withdraw it within two minutes of sending a message, that is, in simple words, you can unsend it.

Facility to unsend mail as well

As reported by The Verge, the new update also adds a “mark as unread” feature. Apart from this, audio messages on iOS 16 will now also have the option to fast-forward or rewind while listening. Apart from this, Apple’s built-in Mail app has also been sung with new features in the new update. Now you will get a new scheduled send option, in which there will also be an option to unsend the email immediately after it is sent. This feature is useful when you have accidentally sent mail to a wrong person. You will be able to unsend it in time.

These features are also amazing

One of the coolest improvements in iOS 16 is the built-in keyboard haptics. After the new update, now you will feel the vibration while typing. Earlier it was available inside apps or while activating features like flashlight from the lock screen. iOS 16 will also get a redesigned Home app with new camera views and widgets on the lock screen and features to control Apple Watch from iPhone. In the new update, users will now be able to copy text from videos as well. However, like iOS 15 released last year, all the mentioned features in iOS 16 are not available immediately.

iCloud Shared Photo Library to launch next year

The company has given another important information for its users. The company says it will launch its iCloud shared photo library for its users later this year, and the next-gen version of CarPlay won’t arrive until compatible cars are announced in late 2023.

Apart from this, Apple Pay will also get a new ‘Pay Later’ feature and people will now be able to split the bill into four equal payments without any additional charges.
